Question about pet stay rooms

Me and the wife are staying in a Go room at the Flamingo in June. I have the option to upgrade my comp offer to a Pet stay Go room suite. Has anybody ever stayed in a pet stay room without a pet? Are they clean or are they full of pet hairs and poop stained carpets and smell like urine? Should I "upgrade" or stay with what I have reserved.

I have not, but my allergies are saying no way. even if it appeared clean, it would not take long before I would be suffering. if I were offered that, I would explain to them that I have chronic allergies and ask for an alternate offer. never hurts to ask.

How did this offer come about? Did you ask about bringing a pet? Just curious.

I'm thinking they wouldn't have that many Pet stay rooms available at any one time. So I surely would not take up one that someone else might actually need.

Having said that, if you do take that offer, and you find the room as you described, you might be stuck with admitting that you don't really need that Pet room but do need to change rooms for a cleaner one.

Didn't Caesars designated one floor in the Augustus tower for people with pets?
I think it was floor 23.
I always had my radar up in case we got assigned to floor 23 (or whichever floor it was).

I don't want to be bothered with anybody's yipping/barking dog.
I like dogs just fine, but...

Never heard how that worked out for anyone, pro or con.

I check my TR offers regular and saw the pet stay room suite was added after I booked the GO room. We don't have a pet but the room amenaties are better and the room is bigger. We are just trying to find out if they are kept in good order and cleaned we'll for people that use them that don't have pets.

one question to ponder, does Flamingo or CET have a good reputation for housekeeping of their non pet stay rooms?

I bring my dog to the pet-stay rooms at Harrah's in A.C. I would recommend avoiding pet-stay rooms if you do not have a pet.

Harrahs offered us a pet stay room (it was ready) and we took it. NEVER again, hall smelled like urine and the neighbors dog barked non stop, lesson learned.
