Question re: booking comped rooms for friends

I normally can get 5 nights comped through the total rewards website. My husband also gets comped so I was going to give my comped nights to our friends. They are actually staying 7 nights and will pay for the extra 2 nights. My question is when I am booking the room can I use their credit card to hold the reservation so their card is on file and not mine?

Not sure- but use yours to hold the room on-line and give them theirs at Check in- that would work fine too

So when I go there to check in they will let me change the credit card to one of their cards even though the room is in my name?

Yes.

Easy way is to book one of them as your sister or whatever and have them use their card. Make it look as if YOU are staying the room.
