"Donny and Marie" offer received from CET anyone used this offer before?

Just received a mailed offer from CET for my choice of 2 free tickets to one of the following
1. Donny and Marie show Nov. 8, 9, 15, 16, or 17
2. Rod Stewart Nov. 16
3. Name That Tune Nov 8, 9, 15, 16, or 17

requires booking a room at either Harrah's or Imperial Palace for a minimum of 1 night, the same night I choose for the show. Three nights are comped with this offer.

The Donny and Marie show is the one I want to see, the mailed offer says ticket distribution Noon to 6pm at the Flamingo box office. When I booked the offer I was told to get the tickets 1 hour before the show. Has anyone taken advantage of this offer before and knows which is correct.

Also where will the seats probably be located. I'm anticipating somewhere very far from the stage.
I got a similar offer, but included more dates for Rod S. and more nights at other props.

But in any case. Tix are hit or miss. I've gotten great seats & lousy seats.
If you go in open minded to sitting Wherever? You might be pleasantly surprised.
We did this offer about 6 months ago. Donnie and Marie's show was great. The show was much better than expected. Shortly after we saw it, the show was partly revamped, so I don't know how it is now.

I would pick up your tickets a little sooner than 1 hour before the show. There might be a line. They had our tickets (and others) already assigned, waiting in envelopes behind the desk. The seats were perfect. Up front, first level, but not on the floor right in front of them. I brought my binoculars, but I didn't need them.

As I said, the show was great. Do not hesitate. I expect you probably already know from reading this board that Harrah's is a better bet than the IP.

We often do one-night show stays. We usually play some, but sometimes we don't play at all.

In my experience, the comped seats have always been very good, close up.
And already assigned. I don't know if you can ask for a change. Maybe.

I think they meant to pick up the tickets PRIOR to one hour before show time...avoid the rush.

You can pick up your tickets any time that the box office is open.
No need to get there early. You'll just stand and wait.
They seat people very quickly.
I hate sitting and waiting for the show to start.

A couple years ago, when I had a similar offer for Elton John tickets, I picked them up an hour before the show. In Dec, I was able to pick up tickets for the Nutcracker right after I checked into my room at Paris. I'd go by the fine print in the mailer.

One thing about arriving early -- the theater has long tables and curved booths. The long tables, where we were seated in the frontmost chairs, were the most tightly packed of any theater I have been in.

If you arrive late, the people who are already seated have staked out their territory and adjusted their chairs for best view and comfort. If you are the last to arrive, you will be squeezing yourself into the little room that is left. So, arrive somewhat early.... at least 1/2 hour before the show starts.

Thank you all for the great info. I was able to get comped nights at Caesars Augustus Tower for the 2 nights preceding the show, then I'll be at Harrahs the night of the show. Now that I know the seats are already assigned, I can pick up the tickets early, have a nice dinner, and go back to my room at Harrahs for a while.
I'm sure I'll also fit in some slot or vp play before the show too.

Sounds like a plan Raisin.

I just wish the dates were over Thanksgiving time, instead of the week before.

Do you think CE planned it that way?
