Reach 15,000 tier cr anyone get $100 dining credit

My wife and I were in AC 2 weeks ago, tier was about 10K so far this year, asked about the celebration dinner at the TR booth, and we were directed to a kiosk to swipe your card. Machine spit out the "celebration voucher" It was about 12" long, but did not read all the fine print, other than had to use before 3-31-2014 at any Ceasars owned restauraunt. Had a nice dinner at the reserve,
I picked mine up in Tahoe a few months ago and have been hoping the printing doesn't wear off before I use it. Hope to use it in Tahoe or Reno this weekend.
Then will see if I get one for earning Diamond level since April 2013.
Here is what I have been told by total reward vice president. Harrahs decided to give all players who reached Diamond for this year (by reaching 11, 000 tier credits last yr) the $100 dining credit referred to in THIS years Level 1 Diamond achievement. She said those of us that get 15, 000 tier points WILL NOT get another $100 dining credit. I told her that isn't fair to us that get
15, 000 points this year, since there will be lots of current Diamond members that dont get 15, 000 points this year. (I know several members that are not even trying to keep their Diamond status, but they have $100 dining credit).
Marcusmeow: off topic but you mentioned you go for the first weekend of March madness every year. I wanted to do that for this coming year and trying to decide what a good day to fly in on would be and where is a great place to stay to watch the games. I was thinking of flying in on that Thursday morning to b in town for the first round. Thanks!

koltunowicz, I was in town this past March during March Madness. Every where you went people were hooting and hollering as every TV in every bar/restaurant showed the games.
sounds like a blast, thankyou, Ive never done any sports betting before but march madness would be the most fun and is why im considering this March trip. Does anyone know when you would have to have your bets in for the first round? I know the games start Thursday and if Id miss out on those games I may have to move my trip up to Wednesday.
Anyone have anything new on this? Some of the posts conflict re: the new policy. I received the $100 certificate in June based on having achieved Diamond last year. I haven't hit Diamond this year but I'm just about 500 points away so I do expect to hit in at the end of the year when I am in Vegas. Trying to determine if I can expect to receive the $100 Diamond Aspirations benefit for having achieved 15,000 THIS year. I hope I will as I'm already salivating about where to spend it. Thanks for any comments!

They are being much more proactive now about making sure you know about the $100 dinner. About 2 weeks after I reached Diamond this year (for 2014), I received a phone call in which the sole purpose was to tell me about the $100 dinner deal. I was puzzled because I thought it was for those who made diamond last year, for 2013. She was quite sure it was for this year, and she even looked in my account to assure me it was there.

She also _implied_ that they might do it again next year.

Since that call, I have had several Total Rewards counter reps tell me about the $100 dinner. Proactive.

I wasn't Diamond last year, so my award was because I completed it this year, 2013, about 1-2 months ago, for now until March 2015.

By the way, not being Diamond last year for just 1 year (after being Diamond for many years prior) was a big mistake. I won't do that again. I know diamond costs a lot, but not being diamond is a real bummer.

I can't answer about getting the dinner again - for both years. Sorry. I think you probably just get one, but I don't know the official word.

Thanks BCC. I know the news is mixed but it seems like I SHOULD get one for making Diamond THIS year, according to aspirations. We'll see. Here's hoping and congrats on making Diamond again!
I saw the statement in quotes below from a Showboat AC executive in another LV forum. The statement was in response to the same question we have. This seems pretty definitive and is consistent with the Aspirations explanations/advertising.

I'm planning to use my $100 certificate at the Bacchanal buffet for Sunday brunch/dinner. (The coupon would cover 2 dinners but I want to enjoy some of the brunch menu items so I'm thinking DBueler and I head over around 2 for brunch and dive into dinner items at 3. Geez, looking at the buffet items online the cereal I'm about to eat is looking pretty lame. LOL.)

"Diamond guests who earn 15,000 Tier Credits in 2013 will receive a $100 Celebration Dinner. For the year 2013 only, guests who earned Diamond status in 2012 will also receive a Celebration dinner.

Seven Stars members receive an annual celebration dinner ($500) for themselves and guests at a Caesars owned restaurant of their choice.

Additionally, once Seven Stars guests reach 15,000 tier points in 2013 they will also receive a $100 dinner.

We trust this information proves helpful to you. We appreciate your inquiry and have a good day!"
