Congrats to you for reaching 7*!
I'm at Diamond Level Aspirations 2. I may possibly get to Level 3, but unlikly to get to 7*. I have gotten this far mostly because we now have HS Cleveland. There are a lot of 7* people in Cleveland like in AC. I do like the new system with bonus tier. The $100 comp was a nice perc. We used both of our $100 at Ruth's Chris in Vegas. Hubby and I play on one card which helps for bonus. We were getting some pretty decent FP for a couple months and played more. Then the FP went down so we're not playing as much. Hubby's is better than mine and we played less on his. One thing nice in Cleveland is that you can bank your fp and just have to use it before the 5th of the next month. You are fortunate that you have multi-point days. The only bonus days I receive do not include video poker. The level really doesn't have as much to do as the games you play. I don't always get rooms especially on weekends even using husband who is also diamond. They have some number system that rates you for rooms. My brother who is a slot player just about always get rooms. I try to book a room online and it says no rooms, but when I put his in he has lots of choices. He is a lot lower level than both of us. My understanding from a friend is that 7* always get rooms. I guess I need to play a whole lot more, lol! I don't need rooms that bad anyway. I'm only about 45 mins. away. It's nice to stay when we're there late. We've also stayed there when going to sports games. It all comes down to your expected loss. The only good vp game in Cleveland is $9/6 JOB. Some are what I call pallitable like 8/6 JOB and 7/5 BP. We have had some sucess with both BDW and TDB.
All said, it is nice to have a local Casino. It is nice to be diamond with a nice lounge with reduced drink prices because no free drinks in Ohio. Buffet lines are huge and even diamond gets pretty busy with special seafood buffets etc.
I'm looking forward to reading about your 7* adventures.
Ahh! I had fun with those great games they used to have in Laughlin! You got me started on those 50 plays when I read your report. Those were fun days with my Mom!
