There is a Facebook page and an accompanying Twitter account currently making the somewhat angry pronouncement that NO RESORT FEES is a scam. I find this fascinating.
During my last stay at Planet Hollywood, I noticed that every call I made from my room to request room service or a laundry pickup cost a dollar. For me, that was a new wrinkle. So, at that point, I simply stopped paying attention to the No Resort Fees hype and dismissed all of this as a disingenuous marketing ploy. My assumption is ... they will get the money from you one way or another.
But, what really fascinates me is the question of who is behind the NO RESORT FEE SCAM Facebook page and Twitter account. Could a Vegas visitor really feel passionately enough about this to launch a campaign? (I certainly don't. People will either figure it out or they won't.)
Maybe it's a disgruntled former employee. Or MGM.
