Reduced Price Suites before Christmas

Greetings - I've been a member here for years and thought I'd ask for help this time In 2007, I scored the Penthouse Suite at the Mirage for about $200/night during the time between the NFR and Santa.

Last year, I got a 2-br Marquis suite at the MGM for $225/night- great steal.

Anyone seen anything like this for the coming year? My gig is that hubby and I plan a low-roller downtown trip and I always pull one of these extravagant hotel stays outta my bag of tricks! Hoping ya'll won't let me down this year!

Approximate visit dates are 12/14-23 or 24.....anyone have any codes, deals, secret inside info?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I go to Vegas every year at the same time. I dont have any real secrets other than to monitor the travel sites for sales. Starting in September you'll see periodic sales where you can score suites for very reasonable prices.

(EX) I got a suite at the Mirage for $80/night which was ultimately upgraded for free to a penthouse suite upon checkin.

There is a myth out there that buying direct from the hotels is cheaper than using Expedia/Hotels.com/etc. My experience is the exact oppossite.
