Resort Fee Info

Hi Everyone,

Here was some info I found on their website in case you hadn't seen it yet.

Description of resort fee:

Daily Resort Fee

The daily resort fee provides you with a comprehensive bundle of amenities, including:

1.Internet service for one device
2.Fitness center access for two
3.Free local calls

The following daily resort fee will be charged to you in two parts; one day will be charged at the completion of this purchase and the rest will be charged to you at check-in.

Please note: the daily resort fee may be waived for certain Total Rewards members.

Also here was the list of fees by resort:

Paris - $20 per day
Quad - $10 per day
Flamingo - $18 per day
Rio - $18 per day
Caesars - $25 per day
Bally's - $15 per day
Harrahs - $18 per day
PH - $20 per day

Hope this info is helpful for you!!
Does anyone know if at Harrahs this is wifi. Since I carry my IPad if its plug in I can't use it.
That's a good question. I would be interested to know that too!
What happens if your resort fee is waived, but you would like room wi-fi? Do you then have to pay the full resort fee anyway or just a wi-fi fee or nothing at all(like that would happen)?

Hopefully the "resort fee waived" customers will receive the same benefits that everyone else recieves. Previous stays at Green Valley and Red Rock, on comp stays, afforded me access to fitness center, spa's and whatever else was covered by thier resort fee, although it was waived for my comped room.

I'd be surprised if CET went out of their way to block thier Wifi signal for 1 room on a particular floor just because that customer had thier resort fee waived (due to the fact that they are Diamond, platinum..etc.)

I'll know in 19 days when I stay at Ballys for 5 days (comped).
Harrahs many of the rooms are not wi-fi they are hardwired. Last year I had 2 rooms that were not wi fi.

Yeah, I've heard on Five Hundy By Midnight (their 3/3/13 episode) that all CET rooms are hardwired, you need to bring a wireless modem or a laptop. =( I guess Tim called and asked the customer service rep and they said flat out "Bring your laptop or a wireless modem".
Champster, let me know what Bally's is doing if you want the wifi, but are comped the room & are Platinum or above. CET Western regional cs said I'd have to pay the wifi fee, but I can pay for it with my reward credits they merrily added.
