Resort Fee question at Caesars Palace

I thought that if you were Diamond, you were not charged a resort fee. When I checked my bill today, they charged me for internet access for $13.99 per day. The girl in the Diamond Registration tells me that Diamonds have to pay the resort fee, only Seven Stars don't pay. Well, that is not what it says under the benefits of Diamond. Has anyone else run into this at Caesars? I will be talking to my host tomorrow when he is back at work.

Recently stayed at Caesars 3 nights, Diamond, no Resort Fee, but were charged for Internet.
Paid for it with RCs.
I've always have had to pay for Internet access at CET LV properties. Resort fee is waived for diamond members.
I thought internet access was part of the resort fee.

It might be, if you have to pay Resort Fee. Ask that Host you talk to.

If given the option, I wouldn't want Resort Fee just to have free Internet.

Resort Fee (plus tax) applies to all days of the stay even if some, but all, are comped. Resort Fee is levied for all days of the stay. Internet charge is only for days of usage.
Or you could do yourself a favor and stay at a casino that does not charge the ripoff "resort fee".
While I hate the idea of resort fees, I love the idea of staying on the strip in a decent hotel. We don't drive in Vegas, so a locals casino is not an option.

At CET properties, if you are Diamond there is no resort fee. There is also no free internet. Seems like a double standard b/c the resort fee includes free internet. that said, while I was platinum, no boothling ever offered up instructions regarding the internet access. You must ASK.

Unless you're 7*, Internet access is not waived. In Vegas, you can pay with points.
Just stayed there with no resort fee. I knew that they charged for internet, so I said no internet...no problem.

Diamond players don't pay the resort fee in Vegas BUT you don't get the perks you'd get if you did pay it. They give you the option to pay the resort fee (even as a diamond) and get the perks OR to get the perks a la carte. It's actually cheaper to pay for the internet since as diamond you already get gym access and all of the other crap anyway.

7* members don't pay the resort fee but do get internet as part of the daily media credit (I think it's $45 per day) which would cover Internet and 2 movies.
