Resort Fees

It wasn't Vegas, by the Hyatt in Key West charged a $20 per night "resort services fee" last month.

Same thing, access to gym, office equipment services, pool towels, etc.

But it was Key West in February when Kansas City was still getting lots of snow!

... i agree, who cares about the resort fee ..i stayed comped at mandalay bay, mirage and bellagio, no fee

but even if i had to pay the fee, you get unlimited wireless access, newspaper, cardio room access (mbay), business center use and maybe a drink ticket or something.. internet access and business ctr (for printing boarding passes) use makes it worth it already .. i stayed at the kauai marriott last month with internet access at $14.99 per day and when it came to print boarding passes, it costed $5.24, based on time in their business ctr, to print both my g/f and my own pass

.. however seriously, i lose $20 in 2 slot pulls, so what?

..in fact, just remember that the currency is being debased anyways in this fiat money system ..i was having a dicussion with someone in this vein and suggested that the prices of materials and other tangible elements have no real bearing on prices.. it is the ridiculous labor charges, unions and many other issues that contribute to what we see (politics, the big corporations, bankers and their freakin charges of interest, greed of those in power, corruption, the aclu, the environmentalists, the media is owned by big money and is there to fill us with propoganda and the governments lies, etc) .. ..the technology we have could make many items last up to 100 years ..however, the way our system is setup forces companies to make things breakable on purpose to keep the sick cycle going .. this is wasteful and a consumerist mentality ..lame

so my suggestion is, don't have children because this world has no future of freedom, it is one of slavery ..the driving force of which is driven by placing all citizens in debt (so-called credit) ..everything in this world is so monumentally stupid ..

.a silly resort fee is the least of your worries .. death is freedom and awaits us all . .

Resort fees are the one of the biggest con jobs run by casinos. So many never know about it until they are checking in. Maybe they missed it. But if you want a higher room rate add it in. Quit the BS. Although they will not. I have not paid as I was in comped rooms. And now I am at South Point and as mentioned so far they have decided to not play this game. Wow maybe they will give me a free newspaper.

So it will not leave but it should.

I stayed on a comp at Wynn recently - no resort fee but there is a charge for the Internet. How is it that Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn can give free Wi-Fi but Wynn can't? Seems ridiculous.
