Resort Fees and Platinum Status !

My husband and I are both Platinum, when I made our May reservations we were told there were no resort fees. Can we still take advantage of the resort fee perks eg: the fitness center because we attained platinum status ?

Of course!! Depending on which property you're staying at, it's either free or 50% off!!

You get the option, don't pay and no access or pay and get access to the perks and that perks variy at each property. I chose a third option, to not pay the resort fee and use the free wi fi in the sports book .

Can anybody weigh in and confirm that this still holds true three months into 2014?

Are the resort fees waived for Platinum members staying at a CET property on a comp?

it was true my trip in Feb.

We are staying at the Rio in 2 weeks, I can update after we return if they are still waived.

Just returned from a 4 night we at Balkys during first week of March madness ( platinum). Used fitness center/ spa and paid half price $11.00 for 1 day or $18.00 for 2. I opted for the 2 days package but never made it back for round 2.

Friday night I pulled out my nook to scout Saturday mornings round of 32 games. Balky site said free wifi if you are a guest of the hotel. If nit then $13.99! Soooo I type in my name and room number and got busy. At check out the $13.99 was on my bill. Called the front desk and was informed that since I was platinum and didn't have to pay resort fee, the wifi would not be free!!!

Smooth move.(show sarcasm here!!)
