Resort Fees Jacked Up at Caesars

From Vital Vegas

And they think the properties that are raising their fees are "in line" with MGM Grand and Mirage, meaning comparable???  What are those folks smoking/snorting/guzzling???  MGM and Mirage are both quite superior to any of those four properties.  Total BS reason for raising fees.

I suggest a similar strategy to that which one might employ if one went to McDonald's and found out that the price of a Big Mac had risen to $16 and that you only got french fries if you allowed them to shock you with a cattle prod: don't go there any more.

I mean, really, is the decision so difficult these days? Vegas offers nothing that you can't get somewhere else, and much cheaper at that.

Are people really complaining about $2/ day increase? If you can't afford $2/ day extra, then my guess is the casino would rather not have you there.  They are in business to take your money.  Mostly thru gambling, but non gamblers have to pay as well, so there are things like parking fees, resort fees, ect.
if you want to do Vegas on the cheap, then don't stay on the strip or at least not in a casino hotel.

Interesting to see what happens to room rates in general once Vegas reopens.   If attendance is way down (and there is pretty good evidence to suggest it will be) then the casinos will have a price war to get you to stay with them.

Not so good if youare a shareowner of MGM - but really good if you are an LV visitor.

I do wish resort fee less Yet I am OK especially when I get a comp

Not crazy about parking fee Yet again I get comp's So look into

it if you don't mind week day stay You don't need to be a high

roller But best if you book with a companion You both with player card numbers Total rewards Harrah's has 5 properties Still have to pay resort

fee which cover internet fee

Some people find these places worth the price.

A sane individual would correctly think that if a person (Kevin) hated Las Vegas for what it has to offer, that Kevin would refrain from posting his hatred and move on to other subjects that he could exercise his hatred on. He hatred will not change anyone's mind about their reasons to visit Vegas. But then again, we all know that Kevin is a control freak who hates anyone who disagrees with his idiotic and inflamatory comments. Knowing this, expect more of the same from the all-knowing Kevin.

I wouldn't mind paying a resort fee for someething I used. But they charge a resort fee to include: Free local and 1-800 phone calls (95%+ of us have cell phones so we dont use the inroom phone), Internet access (Already included on my phone), Fitness center (i am too far gone to bother using it) so to charge $37.00 a night on a room I am paying $15.00 for seems a bit much.

Resort fees have been a total rip off since they were introduced. The thing that has and still amazes me is that people actually allowed themselves to be ripped off.  I refuse to and do not stay anywhere where they try to charge me this fee. I walk or reserve a room somewhere else where there is no fee.
