Rincon got new host again, title is Sales Executive

The 3rd in my Rincon host experience. The first host was very helpful until she broke her leg and never returned to Rincon, the second host sent me 2 emails and a letter, but we never met. I received a call yesterday from a gentleman who introduced himself as my new host. When I called him today his phone message says he's a sales executive. Not sure if this is the new title for hosts or if he's becoming a host or ? Always a mystery. I received an offer in today's mail that I could have easily booked myself over the phone, but I'm going to let my new host handle it to see how it goes.

What's this guys name? I've recently had someone new calling me and have no idea if he's a host or what. His name is Derek. I haven't used him for anything yet.

That's him, name is Derek Foppes. The offer I received was for only one night comped, but I wanted to add the night before also. I emailed him with the dates I needed. He called me and said it was all set. Good thing I checked the online reservations under my TR, because he added 2 nights to the end of the offer instead of just one night before the offer. He's straightened it out, but not the best way to start. I also wanted to see what level of room he arranged for me. Online for the first night I could have had the end bay suites comped, but would have had to pay for the offer night. He got me a premium room in the Garden Tower for both nights which is ok since we'll only be there less than 48 hours. The event is for those new Diamond levels they created at Rincon and I just qualified for the lowest level. I'm trying to find a new hobby for this year, so I probably won't make Diamond. I've already written off the LVH since they've made some changes to the casino and their slot tournaments I don't like.

One of my hosts at Caesars is called a Sales Executive. As far as I can tell, the Sales Executive actually does the work booking the room, and my Executive Host calls and leaves messages in my room every day while I am there. Why they need 2 people to do this is way beyond me

Seems stupid to have someone new AGAIN. They seem to change things around there constantly. I miss my original host, Ken Gilmore. He was great, but took some big promotion and is no longer a host.

Both times Derek has called me I've asked him to please send me an email so I have his contact info. Both times he's failed to do so.

I got the impression he's a phone call person, I'm an email person. I was surprised he phoned me after making the reservation for me, I had emailed him and expected an email in return.

Thanks for his info. I'm an email person, too. I guess he probably is a phone person since he couldn't take the time to email me his info! lol
