Drinks are not free - they do have self service beverage machines though.
Diamond Lounge is nice - they bring around some light snack items as I recall, also have cheese and chips and popcorn.
Not a bad drive from SD, about 45 minutes. Look on the Caesars website (under Rincon) for driving directions - better route than the one Google maps had).
Do not forget about free buffet daily after you earn so many (25 or 50 I cannot remember) TR base credits.
Also, there is another casino nearby that has a free great lobster buffet for new card signups. Its about 4-5 miles south of Harrahs, you pass it coming up from SD, on your right, up a hill.
