RIO room advice?

Ill be staying at RIO next week for 6 nites arriving around 7 pm ...

Any advice for the best rooms?(renovated perhaps) ... I'm currently platinum after 10 years of being a diamond.

Ask for the Ipenema Tower, high floor, pool view.

I agree with Lisa. Go for the Ipanema Tower. If you like to gamble, it's closer to Gold Coast than the Carnival Tower.

I'm staying there in about 3 weeks for the first time in MANY years. It's also my understanding that the Ipenema toiwer is preferable. However, the newly renovated Samba Suites are in the Carnival tower so that may be an option as well.
