Riviera studio suites ?

I just booked one of these for a couple nights in September. Anyone ever try one of these? The pictures look nice enough...they typically go for under $100 so I'm not expecting Club Med...but something nicer than an average room.
Let us know what you think of the suite after you get back!
Spent two nights at the Riviera. They upgraded my studio suite to a one bedroom suite....I didn't even ask! What sweethearts!

The suite was huge but very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. The living room gives you a sofa, tv, wet bar, fridge, half bath, and Mr Coffee single cup brewer (no Keurig here). The bedroom has a king size bed, 2 comfy chairs, tv, and full bath....it also had a neat built-in table for keeping small things. I used it for my coupon books, players cards and car keys. Nothing to pay extra for but I liked it.

Probably the best thing about staying at the Riv is the $35 worth of matchplays they give you as a guest. $25 and $10. Also the ACG Coupon for free comedy club tickets is a great value. They get some decent comics in there...and its free with that coupon. Good way to kill an hour after a long day of gambling. Cocktails were very reasonable in the showroom too...well drinks could be had for $3.50.

All in all, everything was a good value. I forget the actual price I paid for the room but it was under $90/night. But I'm Glad it was only for two days. I need a little more energy than the Riviera provides and that was the only real drawback. I slept like a baby in the room.

Thanks for this critique as well as for the nice photos!

As for the energy that Riviera provides, since you say that it wasn't that good, although I know that people usually want to stay where they are playing, you always could just stay there but play elsewhere.

For me, it's all about the rules/pay schedules that are being offered by the casino. For me, the "Energy/Vibe" of the place doesn't mean much if I can help myself to be more likely to win or to lose less by playing elsewhere.
