Rooms at Harrah's

Did a search but couldn't find anything from more than two years ago.

Recently reserved a "classic" room at Harrah's......it's free and well the IP elevators finally did me in last trip.
Any suggestions on room requests? Never stayed here before and know nothing about towers etc. I'd assume I want to stay away from Carnival Court...

Thanks for any help!
Ask for a remodeled room in the Carnival Court Tower away from Carnival Court. The rooms are decent and closest to the casino.

Mardi Gras tower is closer to check in and taxi service. We have had nice rooms in either spot.
sleepy, I think you are mistaking Mardi Gras tower..........

Carnival tower is closer to check in & Taxi.
Also closer to D.L./Starbucks & self parking garage.

Mardi Gras is closer to Strip, and those View/remodeled rooms (some of 'em)
have Excellent views of the strip too.

The last time I had a "classic" room, I faced the volcano at Mirage. That noise also woke me up due being on east coast time. Carnival Tower is better because it is away from Carnival Court (which surprisingly does NOT keep me up). The higher the floor the better. Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions!
Your correct; I got the towers mixed up. I do agree that the Mirage Volcano can be noisy when it goes off.
I'm rarely in the room before midnight, so the Volcano noise doesn't bother me.
I love the VIEW in those Mardi Gras rooms. But higher floor the better, definately.

The classic rooms all have the sensors in the rooms. These really suck in keeping the room cool when sleeping. They also heat the room up while you are out.
