Ruth's Chris or Gordon Ramsey Steak?

We got an offer for a $75.00 dining credit and I am wondering which is better? We haven't been to either so I wanted to get some input. I know the 75.00 won't go far at either but it will be a nice dinner and something we don't normally do. It was also good at Voodo Steak or Old Homestead Steak House. Would one of those be a better choice?
I've enjoyed our meals at Ruth Chris. A couple of times we ordered the petite filet and shrimp, two 4 ounce medallions with large shrimp, and a couple of sides. It was plenty for 2 people.
I've only eaten at Ruth's. I was not overly impressed. My steak had an odd flavor and sure enough, I suffered later. Service was good.

My cousins ate at Gordon rRamsey and enjoyed the short ribs very much.

when I go to vegas or anywhere else on vacation, I always try to eat at places we don't have back home. we have 2 Ruth's in my city, so for that reason alone I would try Ramsey's. and even if u don't have Ruth's where u live, there are several across the country.

I would suggest Voodoo. They have very good hot and cold samplers and there is a nice view. Ruth Chris is indeed a chain that you might find elsewhere. As far as Gordon Ramsey's, we did eat there once as friends wanted to go there. I would never go there again under any circumstances even for an entirely free meal. The staff verged on being downright insulting. The place was so noisy that the four of us could not carry on a conversation. The seating is so crowded you can talk to the person at the next table before you can the one who is diagonally across from you at your own table. Finally I thought the food was overpriced based on the quality.
Sine you had so many options available, I am wondering if BLT Steak at Bally's is also on your list. Their steaks are very good and the popovers are delicious. It is nicely decorted since the remodel (although I liked the old place) and service was grest. Salads are large enough to share. We had a side of mashed potatoes to share, but I did think the portion was a bit skimpy.

Thanks for all the replies. We do have a Ruth's Chris here in town so I was leaning towards maybe Voodoo now. I have heard several bad things about Gordon Ramsey now which makes me think we will stay away from there. BLT Steak wasn't an option. We had eaten at the old Bally's Steak House and really enjoyed it before it changed to BLT Steak.
If you go opt for voodoo, stop by the godard art gallery the rio. If not to buy just to look at all they have.
this isn't even close in terms of quality. whereas you won't get much for $75 at gr, the quality is vastly better there. definitely give a shot.
I ate at Gordon Ramsey's once. I wasn't impressed at all. Our meal for two was about $200. If you offered me the same meal on our next trip for $40, I'd say no thanks.
