Ruth's Chris Steakhouse at Harrah's

We see that Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (formally "The Range")requires business casual dress. My suitcase has never seen a long pair of pants during our summer trips to Vegas. What do they consider as business casual for their dining experience? Thanks! Oh, and if you have eaten there, how would you rate it?
And do they take rewards credits and if they do is it a one for one exchange.?
the Range was also business casual but last summer there were men eating with shorts on.
Sent email tonight to CET customer service asking if reward credits can be used and at what valuation. Will post reply. I was amazed at the range of dress I saw at Gordon Ramsay Steak the first month it was open. Don't think this will be any different.

I would think that they do take RCs because this restaurant is included in the $100 Diamond dinner offer. Also - judging by the people in line for the elevator, much of anything goes there. I would try to dress nicely enough fit in. It is a nice room so you will want to look nice :-)
They say business casual but they will bend the rules. Unless you look like a total slob, as long as you're willing to pay $100 per person for a steak dinner, they will let you in.

How true.
These places are never crowded, so if you have the $$$.

Money talks & BS walks.

We ate there a few weeks ago. . . I
didn't notice the dress code and I
was wearing capris and hubby was in
shorts . . . I think. We both had
nice shirts on (ie-not t-shirts) and
we were not questioned. I had never
eaten at a RC before was looking forward
to trying it. It was very good. We
shared a steak (if we were locals and
could take food home--we'd have both
ordered a steak but only eating half
of something. . . .so we share. . . )
We also shared garlic mashed potatoes
and onion rings. We each had a glass
of wine. Our total bill was about $120.
We used reward credits to pay. It
was all very good. Equally as good
as our meal at Gordon Ramsey a few
months ago. (We shared there too. . . .)
I still like the atmosphere of the
Range/RC--they didn't change much. . . .
Service was outstanding.
Good news jeanhaka, thanks. We will be in Vegas in August and nothing but shorts (or a swim suit) go on my frame in August in Vegas. If I can wear shorts and RC will take my reward credits a visit will be made.
There is no question that Ruth Chris is considered a top-tier steak house; however, it is VERY expensive and everything (and I mean everything) is ala-cart. Order a steak, and you'll get a plate with just a steak on it. After you pay the $29 for a steak, then the $15 for a vegetable, and another $12 for steak fries, your meal is not in the $55+ range. After drink and tip, you're looking at about $75 a person. Of course, a porterhouse or t-bone will run you $45 to $60...for only the steak.

The food is certainly very and good and is served sizzleling at your table...but the bill is what keeps me away.
