Smoking

We are planing a trip with friends.
My friends wife has had brain surgery last week and will need to spend time in their room to rest quite a bit,
We are staying at Caesars and they are not sure where to stay.
They were thinking about a cabana room at The Linq because they are ground floor ( less walking and being able
to sit outside ) the problem is that she smokes.
I can't seem to be able to find out if you can smoke in the cabana area or not, tried calling the hotel but it seems they don't know either.
Any help from the LVA family would be great.
Thanks
The CET Linq website lists the cabana rooms as non-smoking. I don't know if that applies to the outside area or not.

jnphink--it's been almost 3 full months since you first posted this...did you ever find out an answer about smoking on the patio area?
No I never found out.
We are staying at Caesars in April.
Sorry to say my friend will not be able to go
as his wife passed away in February.
