I would not call Linq, Paris, or Planet Hollywood second tier but I understand your frustration. It is not smart to stiff someone who has given you regular business for 43 years but some of those suits are not very smart it appears.

I have not stayed there since it was I P so I have to ask, has Linq improved to the point of not being second tier? If nothing else I have read that the elevators have not improved.
I didn't have a problem with I P but I felt it was bottom tier level as far as the strip goes. Location not considered I would take Palace Station tower rooms over I P.

If you went into the Linq you would have no idea it was the Imperial Palace at one time. I think the elevators have greatly improved since the old IP days. With that said the rooms are pretty nice but they are no where near what you'd get at Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Paris or the Cromwell.

Thanks for all your input. We're going to avoid CET, like we usually do in Las Vegas. We'll be going to the Cosmo, where we are treated very well.
Like I said I haven't stayed at Linq but I have been in the casino, but not a room. It just seemed to say it is above second tier would seem to be a stretch. Unless the scale would go second tier, top tier, and topper tier.
Joliet finally dropped me. i am 7 stars and have been going to Joliet, collecting my vouchers and stockpiling them. When I would get $1000 i would play, but of course I added some of my own money. I did this a lot this year. Looked at my July offers and all I have is a discount on the buffet. Guess I will save a lot of money and gas now. I am almost at 7 stars again and when I go to vegas in november I will make it there.

Don't go by what you see on the web site. Glitches happen.
Call and talk with someone in VIP. No way would they have dropped you at 7 Stars.
I'm not familiar with the "voucher" system, though. Good luck in Vegas.
Joliet was my local casino of choice for a long time (though I live 50 miles away). Once I became self-employed plus once they tightened up their VP I only go a couple of times a year now. I just got the August vouchers and they 2.5 x the old ones. I guess they want me back. I probably won't go though. I get to take the free bus to Horseshoe Hammond (35 miles away) so I just go there, but again only a few times a year.

I think you should go and if possible finish up your 7 Stars.

Even if not, the fact that you showed up, you'll start getting offers again.

CET is like that...they want regular attendance! Even if you don't play that much each time.

I had the same thing happen last year. I think I already wrote about that here.
