Harrah's offers are boring, the same old puny amount of free play or gift cards every month. They no longer mail the offers out, but a few months ago they started e-mailing them for no reason. I never asked for e-mails, and I don't want them. So I opted out of the e-mails. If they want to resume physically mailing them to me, I might look at them. Otherwise, no.

We had a great trip to Las Vegas last week with NO Harrahs at all. We did not think about or set foot in any CET property. Didn't miss it one bit.

CE's upfront comp models are based on getting you to their property for the number of times they THINK you visit Vegas each year along with your potential.

At first (when let's say you start playing with them) they will create an initial player profile based on the info they have which could result in higher and more frequent upfront comps.

Once they gather more data on you and truley learn your visit and play pattern, their comps will adjust down and only start increasing when you start deviating from your visit pattern with them. That's why if you are visiting them frequently you may get lower comps, but they will incent you with higher comps to come back if their data tells them that you are not staying with them as frequently as you should.

Of course, your daily theo is another huge component of all of this and the actual level of the upfront comps they offer.
I wish they did more to retain loyal playes vs. chasing after them after they already are on their way out (or have left!)

Finally got my desk back up & running in the new digs, so will drop by lva alittle more often now.
But, this place sure going slow.........but what else is new...........lol
