Stayed at Caesars last night, now I know the cause of all the sirens & street shutdown

We kept hearing sirens this morning and knew they were stopping close, but didn't realize how close until we looked out the window towards the strip and Bellagio (we had Augustus tower room). Then we saw it on the news. News crews couldn't get too close this morning.

About 5:45am my son asked at registration if any problem leaving the hotel parking lot and the front desk person hadn't heard of the shooting. Thank goodness we know how to use Jay Sarno drive to Frank Sinatra drive from all you wonderful info sharing angels on this board.

Thank goodness you werent standing on the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd last night!!!!

Thank you Champster. I sometimes miss those nights of my youth when I stayed up all night in LV. I'm now tucked into bed by midnight at my hotel.
I hope they catch those in that SUV that thought shooting someone was the way to end a dispute.
