Staying at Paris

I don't believe so. The bar itself is small, maybe six seats.

They used to serve Mexican style food only, but now that the Sidewalk Cafe closes at 2 pm, they offer much more.

Luxury rooms are standard
premiere are view

p- rooms are on the ends and are bigger with corner windows.
Lower floors in the front now can get some noise from the new Chateau night club.

red rooms are Diamond level upgrades.

concierge level include a continental breakfast bar and cocktail hour appies.

Sometimes the registration people can be a bit uptight.
Sometimes the $20 trick works sometimes not.

I've only ever had one floor person not be nice.
Everyone else on the floor has always been super nice.

We have Ok luck there. We're happy with how long our money lasts.
I had a nice run of luck on the $1 slots in the Champagne slot area last year.
Just inside where you walk in, backside of the $3 total max bet.

I heard some people winning on the $5 WOF in there too.
By the time we got on it we didn't have much bankroll.

I also had a nice bonus on an Indiana Jones machine and we played forever on a nickle WOF machine by the front doors.

We also like the Crazy Wild machines by the front doors, but they are REALLY loud.

I had a nice run in the Rome Egypt machines by registration, too.

The Lemon meringue tarts at Cafe Madeline are YUMMY!

Mon Ami Gabi has a Bloody Mary bar on the weekends for breakfast.

We like the corned beef hash and the guyere omelet.
I didn't like the crab eggs benedict last time.
They changed it from a crab cake to chunks of crab and it wasn't seasoned well.
It was too bland for my taste.

For dinner we like the steak au pouvre there.

We love Berger Brasserie.

I don't like Ile St. Louis.
The food there is VERY mediocre.

The food at the Sugar Factory is fabulous!
I got the chicken pappradelle pasta dish and it was scrumptious.
I also really liked the Swedish Fish cocktail.
It was cherry flavored with Swedish Fish candy in it!
Hubs got a huge club sandwich that he really liked.
The guy next to me got a fresh tuna sandwich that he said was excellent.
He told me had a thing for tuna sandwiches so he was a bit of a connoisseur. LOL

Thata's everything I can think of off the top of my head.

I'll add more if I think of it.

I agree about Ile St. Louis. Have eaten there several times and it does not compare to Mon Ami or Cafe Madeleine. Mon Ami for breakfast is fabulous. We'll be there for 5 days in three weeks. I'm salivating now (and I'm not a big eater)!
lots for us to check out
thinking about it dont care if we have a view as long as it is an upper floor

I have had the best luck playing $ DDB VP at Napoleans bar. Paytables aren't great but I hit a royal and multiple 4 a's during my last trip.
The Eiffel Tower Restaurant is first class. We had lunch there the last time we stayed at Paris.
We love Paris.

When we stayed there last year we told them it was our 20th anniversary. They upgraded us to s suite, gave us a yummy small cheese cake. I love that I don't have to walk a mile to the room too. Also all the other answers here.
The wife and I just returned from a 4 night stay at Paris. We have stayed there several times in the past. Like others have said, the restaurants are good. We really like the cafe and the burger place as well as Mon Ami Gabi. We went to the sugar factory for breakfast and we're not impressed. We both had omelettes and they were okay but nothing special.

Housekeeping was bad. When we checked in I noticed food crumbs on the floor. There was also a glob of hair in the shower. One day they didn't even service the room. We normally leave $5 per day for the housekeeper. Not this time.

The cocktail waitresses are very efficient and several are drop dead gorgeous. The bartenders at Gustav's are slow and inattentive, especially on the day shift. They spend more time counting their tip money and reading sportsbook sheets then they do waiting on customers. While playing VP, we normally tip $2 per drink. We tipped less on this trip because of the inattentive service.

Dont get me wrong, we still like Paris. For the most part the employees are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping and the bartenders were our only gripe on this trip. Have a great time!
Breakfast, particularly the blueberry French toast, is the play for Mon Ami Gabi. Have done several breakfasts at Mon Ami, no complaints.

But supper there? Never again...dark, noisy, rushed service, snobby, food mediocre at best. Couldn't wait to get outta there.
We ate at Cafe St. Louis for breakfast April 7, 2012. We were pleasantly surprised in the quality of the food. i had the twoo egges with thick sliced bacon and my husband had the corned beef hash. Both were very good.

Service can still be a little slow, however; but it is improving.
