Staying @ Caesar's First time

For the first time since 1988 I will attempt to stay on the strip. I normally hate to but DH wants to stay in the iconic Caesars. We're in the Augustus Tower...Is there only one check in area? (I'm not Diamond) or does Augustus have a separate checkin/valet?

Any info is appreciated. All I could tell from the property map is that perhaps I just valet in the main area and make a left to registration?

Yes, there is only one checkin area, to the left after you valet. The lines an be long at peak times, so you might want to call them and ask if they have the new check in system where you an do it over your cell phone. I remember seeing something about this.

Diamond and 7 Star registration are located in the Augustus Tower.

Don't be tempted to try using the Diamond check in area if you aren't Diamond.
I've seen them decline to check people in who aren't Diamond.

The main check in area will be fine.

We only stayed at Caesar's once. Our usual stay is at Paris. We had a room in the Augustus Tower and we were very impressed. The room are just beautiful and well-appointed. The pool area is awesome as well. The pools are different temperatures (or were when we were there).

Love the room, not so fond of the casino.

The rooms are delicious, but that casino????!!!! Really, Caesars???? I mean as big as that place is they have the tiniest selection of machines. Ridiculous! Everything is old...ewww.

We will be staying again in December, but I've gotten just too spoiled with M Resort and ES Cannery. I want to play on brand new machines. Let's say something from after 2005??? I wonder where I should venture on strip to find such a casino. I guess Cosmo?
