Sterling Brunch buy out

I was very excited when my husband told me he was going to take me to the Sterling Brunch on our August trip. It would be a belated birthday dinner.

He called yesterday to make reservations for August 16 and was told that the entire restaurant was "bought out" for that day by a Seven Star member. Bummer (unless of course said Seven * member would like to extend an invitation for us to join him/her, lol).

I don't know how many people they serve on an average Sunday, but I am guessing upwards of $250,000 before gratuities. Wow. Just wow.

Wow is right!
Maybe they gave him/her a discount? Still I agree wow . This is going on my list I think for my big 0 birthday next year. You have a very nice hubby.
The Las Vegas Seven Stars Experience is Aug. 13-16. Sterling Brunch is one of the options for members on Sunday, Aug 16.

Thanks, videos. I got to thinking about this last night and checked out the 7* Experience on a google search. Sterling, Giada;s, Bacchanal, and Guy Fieri's are all options. I wonder if they are also closing Bacchanal to the public.

Of the 7 Stars Signature Event options, only Sterling Brunch and Giada are "sold out" to 7 Stars members booking the event at this time. Bacchanal is still available.

With that being the case AND knowing that last year Bacchanal was full of non-7 Stars guests (my choice last year was Bacchanal) I would believe they will be selling to the general public that day.
Oh well another bubble burst LOL.
Thanks for the info, justmare. We usually go to the Sterling Brunch once a year, use the $100 Diamond certificate and then use points for the rest. Luckily we will have two other opitons upcoming.

I've never been to Sterling Brunch. Last year it was already sold out when I booked my 7 Star signature weekend events. I got in early this year and booked it. I'm sure Bacchanal doesn't really compare to Sterling, though, so I'm sorry you got shut out due to this event.
I am sure you will enjoy it. The Perrier Jouet is outstanding as is most of the food. their signature omelet contains lobster, brie, and cognac. I find it very rich, so we always split a small one to sample it. I also like the fact that they now serve their Benedicts from the kitchen instead of sitting in the chafing dish getting hard. Enjoy!!
