El Cortez did the same
Which I find kinda funny. Where/how does a high roller at El COrtez spend their comps? The most expensive menu item at SIegels is $30.

I'm not a high roller, but the comps do add up. I use them for massages at NV Spa on the second floor. Also a couple off-site restaurants take ElCo comps. Looks like the high limit room took the place of the "high limit" slot/video poker room. I sure hope they didn't get rid of my $1 DDW machine...
While the ElCo's clientele does largely consist of blue-haired old ladies blowing their Social Security checks and ultra-low-rollers banging away on the nickel slots, they do get some relatively high-rolling clientele now and again. The relative looseness of the games has always been an attraction, and until the place became Stationized, the comps were the best in town. And most of the rooms are actually quite nice and spacious (Tower rooms are the best).
