Suite Question - Palms vs. Cosmo

Ok, trying to get a little classy part of our vacation here, and wondered if you had any input. Hubby and I are going to Vegas 12/14-24, and are planning our stay. We normally get comped rooms at the Fremont and LOVE downtown.

This being said, I have a shot at a discount at 2 other hotels - which is better (luxury/location/whatever else wise) - the Palms (a Salon Suite) or the Cosmo (a Lanai Suite)?

We know the basic location of each and are just wondering what would lead us to choose one over the other!

Thanks in advance for your help! - lauren in TX
The Lanai Suite at the Cosmopolitan looks fantastic and you can't beat the location. They also

have a good slot club promotion right now but I'm not sure if it is restricted to new sign ups only

as I have had conflicting reports.
I'd go Cosmo all the way. You can't beat the location.

We stayed in a wraparound twice (I haven't even seen the Lanai) the first time we like the room, but had some "service issues" (see old TR), this time we loved everything (TR coming). The service was amazing and the room is incredible.

I hope this helps.
Cosmo also DOES NOT have a resort feee, Palms does.
