surprise tier bonuses

Stayed at Caesars last week, maybe I'd get closer to Diamond since I had only 7K and change tier.

First day saw I earned a tad over 3K tier points, and second day saw a tad over 2 1/2 K tier.

Prior to going to bed, checked and my tier was reading 23K and change! How could this be?

On returning home I had two separate e-mails from CET, one on each day I played,

Each said I earned 5000 tier "bonus" points. Wow. Didn't know they were giving bonuses again since last spring.

I suppose they are trying to reel us tired old Diamond players back into the fold. LOL.

Last year, Caesars came out with the following bonuses

500 tier points earned- 125 extra tier points
1000 -1000 extra tier points
2500 -5000 extra tier points

This year they added
5000 tier points earned-10,000 extra tier points

The bonuses don't add extra reward credits but allows you to make Diamond and (gulp) 7 stars quicker.

don't they have the best marketing? so instead of stopping when you should, you say 'only 1500 more points then I get an addition 2500'

Yes, they do have us pegged.

I knew about the bonus tier points earlier in the year, just didn't know that it was a continuous promotion, thought it expired end of March or something.

Hope they keep it going.
