Survey Sweepstakes

As many of you know, after staying at a Caesar's Property, many times you'll receive an email later asking you to take a few minutes to take their survey of your trip. They dangle a carrot of $5000 in free play for some lucky winner.

Does anyone know anyone that has won this prize? I am suspicious that this never happens and, of course, there is no one to ask ("we're sorry, but we can't give out personal information of the winners") if anyone is ever chosen?

I want to believe that someone is selected, but after filling out many, many of these over the years, I hear nothing.

It makes me wonder...
You know Jon,I'll bet it's only a come on.Like the surveys I fill out for Taco Bell,Burger King,Panara Bread and on and on.Never win, don't know anybody that has.But of course we are suckers for any chance to win a prize.

I stand corrected.Glad it was somebody from this forum.

I've filled out many of them. Never a prize winner.
Last October I got a call from Harrahs Cherokee I had won $1000 for answering a survey so it does happen. I live close so in a couple weeks I had to go there to pick it up. So highly recommend to all to take a few minutes to answer these surveys.
I never have won ANY drawing, casino related or otherwise. My assumption is there are a large number of entries and therefore the percentage of winning is very low.

I'm pretty sure there are legal ramifications to advertising awarding prizes and not doing so.

So I stand corrected...and am glad I am. I did want to believe that they did offer the prize.

However, as mentioned by one reply, there are legal ramifications if they offer these thinigs and don't come through. I blieve that it was the Hilton Hotel a few years ago that was fined BIG BUCKS for "random" drawings that turned out to slighted in the favor of their bigger players. If I recall, one of their whales lost a lot of money, and so they fixed it so he won the top prize in hopes it would gentle the blow and keep the casino in the whales' future plans.

There it is. I'll continue to fill out the surveys (turth is, I like getting things off my chest even though it goes for naught...I've harshly complained over and over again about the devaluation of their Diamond Lounges over the years to no avail), but at least I can vent.
