Tell me something good about Harrahs "Classic" rooms please.

I just booked my SWA r/t flight to Vegas for 9 days of March Madness in March (Best time of the year in my opinion). My only 5 day comped offers from C.E.T. were at either I.P (Quad) or Harrahs. Soooo...Harrahs it is! I don't believe that I have ever seen their rooms, but I sure could use some advice on their "Classic" rooms!

We stayed there once--it was clean.

Go to Harrahs, click on their websight, look for Hotel Overview,
then click on " Classic Rooms " this will show you a pic of one and
the features included in these rooms.

These rooms were built as 1970s Holiday Inn ones, so they only have so much to work with when remodeling. SMall bathroom with small tub/shower combination. Rooms generally well kept up however.

What Dave said. I was in one just last week. Classic room in the Carnival Tower. Room was a bit narrow, but deep. Bathroom was pretty small, too. But at the same time, it's not the worst I've ever stayed in (I'm looking at you, Excaliber!). Heck, it's a room in Vegas. As long as the room is clean, and the bed soft, it's all good. You don't spend much time in a room anyway.

Ask for a higher floor.

Rooms are bare minimum and a bit smaller but they are very clean and comfortable. If you just need a place to sleep and shower these rooms will fit the bill.

Karen T suggested that I switch to Imperial Palace. She says that their rooms will be remodeled by Mid-March. Can anyone confirm that??

I read somewhere, FFA maybe, that rooms won't be remodeled at Quad until after Ling construction.
