Total Rewards Points

Did you look at the non-comp room night charges when you checked in or out? Did you check out in person and go over the bill? Despite the convenience of TV checkout, with CET I check out in person to get all that straight.

I suspect that restoration of deducted TR points, figuring which rates to charge your credit card for (all nights not being equal!), etc. may be a bigger hurdle for their system to handle, or bigger than they want to. I doubt it had anything to do with your play during the stay.

I'm a little confused. Did they use the points to pay for the non-comped nights? For the 4 non-comped nights, how did you plan to pay for them? Were you upfront about this at check-in?

I am confused as well but i guess i was not upfront enough at check in. I believe I was very clear to charge my CC and not use points to pay but obviously was not enough. I will never again not take the time to stop at the desk and check out in person and go over the bill. My flight left very early in the AM. I mean like the airport was not even open when i arrived to check into my flight early.....lol Anyway I should have been more diligent and made sure this didn't happen and will be sure to do this in the future. Lesson learned.
