Total Rewards Quest 2017

Nothing like having a promotion like this in the dead of winter. I live near Chicago--air travel is always a crap shoot from now until the end of March. Car travel, like to southern Indiana or Illinois, is too dangerous. I-65 is a death trap in the winter (and not much better in the summer).
That leaves us Hammond Horseshoe and Joliet IL as two viable options.

Luckily, we scheduled a Vegas trip for the end of March, so we will have three days to visit the various casinos. Some of them will be an adventure to get 25 tier without spending a fortune and finding a game that we like to play.

When they had the reward credit quest a few years ago, we did a car trip to Metropolis (IL), Tunica (MS), St. Louis (sold), and Kansas City. It was fun and if not for the promotion we never would have gone. Winter is just not good timing.

I agree with you, I also live in the chicago area and we were pretty much going to play it by ear and see how the winter goes, so far it isn't going too great, but I hope all the snow goes away after the new year. So we are going to see how the weather goes and see how many in the midwest we can get to, most of them are a 5 - 6 hour drive each way, so with no real holidays for my husband to get a few extra days off, it would be 1 per weekend. I am hoping by March the weather will break and we can do a few more. The year they had the other one, I think it ran like June - September. There were a few holidays in there with 4 day weekends, so it made car trips pretty good. We hit a lot of casinos in those months. We did a group withn St. Louis was still a caesar property, so we did St. Louis, North Kansas city, Council BLuffs and then home. Then another one we did Metropolis, Tunica and Southern Indiana. I had a host that had contacted me when we had gone to St. Louis, so when I couldn't get a comped room in Tunica, she got one for me and gave me some food comps in Metropolis and Southern Indiana. It was a pretty fun time, traveling around on the weekends to places we hadn't gone to much. This year, we already had a Las Vegas trip planned for the end of February, so we will be getting those casinos and going to Laughlin. So that will give us a few extras.

The value doubles if you can in fact get 19 or over casinos in (250 tier credits per badge under 19, 500 tier points per badge 19 or over) - 20 casinos is 10,000 tier credits or 2/3 of the way to diamond. I would trade anyone Philly and/or AC for New Orleans and/or Reno Tahoe, since I am going to get 15 on my own between AC/Philly/Balt/Las and Laughlin (4 more makes a big difference)
David, I thought the same thing also, but that is not how it works. Up to 18. you get 250 Tier Credits. Beginning at 19, it becomes 500. They have a chart in the official rules that shows how many for each number of badges. 20 Badges will get you 5500 Tier Credits, but if you figure that it takes $5 for 1 Tier credit, that is $27,500 worth of gambling. Worth a few trips around to me. Here is the rules in PDF with the chart at the end. https://www.totalrewards.com/content/dam/total-rewards/Promos/quest_for_rewards/2017_Quest_For_Rewards_Rules_TC_Bonus_Terms_and_Conditions_Q1_2017.pdf

thanks, you are correct, max 13,500 for all 36 properties, my mistake but glad to know I dont have to get to 19 (so that they double) just 19th is worth more. I am going to be around anyway so it is just a bonus.
PS 20 badges would be at least 6000 (you earned 25 pts at each property) I need all the help I can get to get diamond back again!!
Not quite understanding this badges thing. I have credit for 2 casinos, but have 5 badges. A friend has credit for 3 casinos, but has 9 badges. Don't mind the extra help, just don't understand where the extra badges came from. LOL
Never mind. They changed it now to reflect my two and my friends three badges. I shouldn't have said anything. It jinxed me. LOL
I WANT MY DAMN BONUS TIER POINTS I EARNED AT THE END OF LAST YEAR! I EARNED THEM FAIR AND SQUARE!
So true teach8...we decided to plan a trip anyway. We were going to go to Metropolis, Elizabeth and Hammond this weekend. Had to cancel reservations due to the ice. Terrible time of year for Midwest people to travel.
