TR Tier Credit Bonus

Did anyone else receive the TR Tier Credit Bonus email in September? I did, and I immediately opted in to "accept gift" of the points they were offering.
When I didn't see the points posted by the first week of October (it said they would post by Sept. 30), I emailed TR to ask why. I received a response that they would post by Oct. 15.
So today, still not seeing the points, I emailed TR again. I received a response saying they're sorry if I'm "disappointed," but it appears I did not opt in to "accept gift" when the email was sent.
A) I absolutely did. I distinctly remember doing it the moment I read the email.
B) When I didn't see my points by first week of October, I called up the email and clicked "accept gift" again, just in case it hadn't gone through the first time. That brought me to a page that said something along the lines of, "you've already opted into this promotion."
So, clearly, I did indeed do it the first time.
I've responded to the "we're sorry you're disappointed" email with this info, but don't expect to hear back.
Did this happen to anyone else? And does anyone have a real, working number to talk to a real, working non-reservation TR representative about this? The points they are offering would be a significant help in maintaining my Diamond status and I'm not letting this go easily.
Thanks!
Yeah, it happened to me also. I opted in as well, but did not receive my bonus points. I emailed them to inquire as to why and they responded that I did not opt in, and there were no exceptions. Another words CET stated " we are screwing you and there's nothing you can do". And yes I am 100% sure I opted in as it was an easy process. Your post affirms I'm not the only one they did this to.
I never got an offer for bonus points.
I guess Diamond really gets you nothing...
You can try this: Pull up the original "gift" e-mail again, print it out. Open the TR web site, scroll to very bottom of page. There are some links and one says "Contact Us." This takes you (after jumping through some hoops) to a page where you can send them a text message. It says "we promise you'll get an answer" or something like that. Write your question, cite the specific name of the promotion, (they use similar wording for different promos), the date you received it and "accepted it", and the date you tried again and it said you'd already "accepted the gift."

I get better results e-mailing than trying to get somebody on the phone to actually research my concern. But it isn't what it used to be. Used to be so simple, sending a message and getting a reply in a few days.

There was one offer to "start the new year off" with a "gift" of some Tier Points. Was that the one? I think that required a hotel stay, and the points wouldn't show up until after January 1, 2017, but I can't keep up with all their come-ons. I can't go to Vegas every month, so I leave lots "on the table" as they say. But I hope you can get the points you were promised.

cet is very difficult in trying to get to a live person to get answers or help-------the exception is a high roller who has an assigned host who can intervene----
I opted in and got a quick reply..."thanks for opting in"... the a few weeks later when i played using my TR card...the bonus showed up in my account the next day.
