Tropicana..........its all white.........are rooms clean?

Thanks to the $100 FP promo at Trop earlier this year........Trop. sent me a postcard for 3 free nights.

Going to try the place out soon, as I need a Non-Stations/CE/Mgm, extra night, some place. lol

Anybody been there lately, that can shed light on which room to ask for?

How are the rooms since the place became so WHITE ? Safety? Noise level? Thanks!
Spent last Super Bowl weekend there, I think you saw my TR with the pictures. I believe we were in a "Paradise

Suite". The room was very spacious, clean, quiet, smoke free, and had a nice view of the strip. We felt safe and

comfortable there. The only downside was we did not enjoy our meal @ Cafe Nikki.

Here is the report
Thanks Guwapo
Doubt I'd get a suite there........hopefully the regular rooms are ok..

Forgot to ask about parking............is self parking a trek, or is
it better to Valet there?
I valeted when I did the $100 promo.........but maybe self parking is close to room elevators, or not? lol
The suite wasn't much more than the regular rooms. No harm in asking right

Can't help you with the parking, we usually stagger

Edited to ad: Just kidding. No really. I may wobble a bit from time to time

We usually walk, bus or cab in Vegas.

Am staying at the Trop on an offer I booked a couple months ago for a week in Dec., they were really touting there new pool area and all the offerings that the company running it " Nikki " I believe, had to offer, since then this company has backed out of the property, OK my ? is, I was OK with paying a " resort " fee since it included internet etc, but was hoping to use it more on the new Beach area/event/party area, now that they are gone, how should I handle this fee at checkin, knowing I will not be getting what I thought would be a good value for this, believe me I don't like Resort fees, but the stand alone room offer was very good,

Thanks for any suggestions.

Lee
Lee, looking forward to hearing how this works out for you.
Did "Nikki" back out or get the boot?

Here is an article from the Las vegas Sun.

Edited to add: as of this weekend it was still in operation.
I don't know whom left whom, but I will find out, I Hope. I have never stayed at the property before, but have attendended as an Motorcycle Shop owner during their MidAmerica Auction's of motorcylce's etc.
Had a change & won't be staying at Trop this trip.

Trop. Offer is good thru Jan. 31 so maybe use another time soon.
Came with 2 tics to Mob Exp. Museum. Not sure IF that exsists anymore?

Sounds like your getting the same offer as me. I get them every month so I'm guessing you will too.

To answer your original question, we stayed there in May and the standard room was great. Very clean. The bathroom was odd shaped (and the fixtures old) but it was clean an sparkly. We were in the tower right over the casino (can't remember the name) and it was easy to get in and out of the room.

The self park just south of the casino on LVB is a 100 or so yard walk to check in. Short by the MGM standard.
