Tropicana Stain glass

Anyone know what's happened to Tropicana stained glass?

Apparently it is in storage according to the LVRJ

Thanks to Patricia for asking and to Blonde4ever for the answer.  I've admired that iconic celing since my first visit to Las Vegas, somewhere around  1988 or so.  I've done stained glass, though certainly on a much, much smaller scale, but still I can appreciate the complexity of the designing, the cuting each piece and the soldering it all together, let alone the hanging/securing it to remain stable all these years.  The last time I dropped in to Trop (just to look at the ceiling) it was almost like a piece of smoking history, since the pieces were quite heavily stained from the gamblers' smoking underneath it all these years.

I can't imagine what will be done with it, though I hope somehow it can be cleaned and repurposed somewhere.

Good to hear at least in storage not destroyed. I spent time at

Tropicana in the 1990's.

that was when they gave room rate deals. After the so called remodeling. Never got any

mail offers. I did like the pool

and spa. I am not a pool person.

Yet they had a nice little adult section.Nevertheless glad to

hear. The mirage volcano also on the way out. That's too bad too. Just a old time Begas fan.

Maybe Neon Museum. I read they are moving to larger space.
