Tropicana Stained Glass

I wonder! What will happen to

the stainted glass at The Tropicana

when it is taken down ?

Good question.  I loved that stained glass.  I'd go in the Trop just to see it.  Rarely mentioned in those "things to see in Las Vegas", but it certain is one.  It had become rather smoke-stained over the years but still lovely.  A good one for QoD.

There used to be this "boneyard," where a bunch of iconic Vegas neon signs and other large memorabilia were stored after their associated casinos were razed. If memory serves, it was on West Flamingo and then just south of downtown. There was talk of making it into some kind of museum. If that still exists, I surmise that's where any Trop artifacts would go.

But that's the sum total of what I know. Maybe the LVA folks can fill us in.

No plans have been announced for the site.  The stadium will be built on the southest corner.  The tower with the stained glass may remain as that building may only be remodeled.

Tom hope your right. One way or the other. Does need a facelift.

I haven't stayed there in a long time.Prices up so much.

I do love the pools.
