Update on the Paris Buffet

I got a post today on facebook re: a change at the Paris Buffet. For an additional $11.99 you can drink all the beer, wine and bloody mary's you can handle. My opinion on this is I really like the Pars Buffet for breakfast but I think that this is a very bad idea. I do not want to pay to dine with drunks. It is bad enough you have to deal with them on the strip and in Casino's but at a buffet? I think that this is going to attract alot of negative attention. I really don't like the fact that some idiots may end up puking at a buffet. Just my opinion.
It sounds like you are really anti alcohol. Ive seen a lot of overserved people in Vegas but I'm not offended by them. They only embarrass themselves.

I dont think you need to worry. I don't think the Paris breakfast buffet will be taken over by raging alcoholics.
No I am not anti-alcohol but there is a time and a place for everything. Many of the patrons are there with their families, it could get offensive.
i agree, it could get ugly, but at least Paris isn't a "wild" place like some other properties.

Paris buffet has systematically broken down over the past 3 years-- it's swill now.
I am sure they want patrons to drink to forget the quality of the food with this new addition.
The Paris Buffet isn't what it use to be and I think it is mainly because it was joined in on the Harrah's Buffet pass. Since then, the Paris Buffet has gone downhill. Sad because it was one of my favorites.
Well, LVH includes wine and beer in their buffet.

At least, they did when I was last in there.

I never saw anyone stumbling around.

In fact, I don't see that many drunks in LV.

I guess I don't get around that much. LOL

BTW, I have not had a drink in LV for about 6
months now unless you count a diet Pepsi or diet Coke with some cherry syrup thrown in.

I did not see anyone in the near vicinity doing this "special." The food quality is hit or miss. I generally will take a slice of prime rib if we are near the "Lunch" turn around. It was decent.

At Harrahs for breakfast, we also arrived late enough for the lunch offerings. Their prime rib was still mooing, but they offered to flip it on their grill. I want prime rib, not ribeye steak.

We also went to the Lago buffet at Caesar's and I thought the prime rib was mediocre at best.

We are not buffet freaks--we were in LV for ten days.

Joy
I highly doubt during breakfast that a bunch of people will be getting drunk and wild.

Personally, I also think it would be hard to get drunk at a buffet because of all the food you would be eating. It definitely would kill the buzz.
I agree with the assessment that the Paris buffet isn't good anymore. Several years ago we were blown away but the last 3 times have been forgetable or worse. Unfortunate.
