VDARA

Any stay here and can you give me some feedback? Looking to stay the end of August.
Check my comments in the Mandarin Oriental thread:

I answered someone in detail on another thread on the free side last night.

but I really enjoyed my stay there. I loved that the hotel is non smoking.
Just got back from the Vdara. Stayed there this weekend. This was my second visit. The first time I stayed in the 56-57th floor 2 bedroom penthouse. It was really nice. I think the upstairs was built very weird and wasted a lot of space. It's expensive but very beautiful. This time I stayed in the Executive corner suite. I was on the 46th floor facing the I-15 and the pool. It was also beautiful. I was disappointed as I asked for a strip view. I waited 4 hrs for this room. When I came back they said it would be another hour. I had just checked out of Aria so I didn't have anywhere to go. They suggested the room on the 46th floor so I took it. I don't think it would have been to hard for the front desk lady to tell housekeeping when I first checked in someone was waiting for that room.

A friend of mine stayed at the Vdara and said it was awesome! Awesome room service, awesome customer service and awesome view. I have been wanting to stay there for a long time now, since they opened. I just can't justify spending all that money on a room. Wish they were cheaper.
Are there any perks to a suite in Vdara as there are at say the Bellagio?
They keep sending me emails offering reduced rates. I think it's always around $109 or $129.
I can't remember which.

That's actually pretty cheap for what they offer.

However, my mindset can't adjust to paying for a room in LV.

Agree with jjjjjjjjjjj. No can pay.
Non-smoking is a plus

True, I get those too. But when I put in the dates I want to go, it always ends up being $180+ a night.
