Venetian/Palazzo mailing offer's - Anyone get any yet??

No offers for me anymore, I obtained gold, again but no offers. So my gambling days at V/P are finished.

I haven't received any mailers, either - in quite a while. But, on a lark, I just checked the website. The offers that started in 2010 say there are no suites available, even if the offer date is well into 2011. However, there are new offers from 2011 that when I click on them, it shows the offer. Haven't tried to book, but at least it looks better..

Are you Gold? Platinum? Weve been trying to figure out a method to their maddness for Months!

It looks to me like they are copying the Wynn/Encore model as the most comparable property.


An aside, just spoke with a friend at a West Coast law firm. She told me the annual partners meeting which is always at the Wynn, will now be at the Cosmo. There is some serious price competition
going on in that market. Aria was second and Venetian not even in the running.

I tried to book a room for March, was told by someone in Grazie services that they were not honoring any room offers at this time due to a large increase in convention business. They told me that they might start issuing offers again later in the year. So I don't think I will be playing there again until it is worth my while.

Finally going to give my 2 cents. I could give a rat's a** about the Venetian and Sheldon anymore, there are too many good options after giving well over 250K in play the last 2 years I just don't care anymore. They took all of the at least fairly playable games, so for now Good bye...........Rick
