We comped a room for tomorrow at the Renaissance

I happend to see a post on facebook that rooms were still available for opening day at Horseshoe Cleveland tomorrow. Maybe people cancelled as I thought none were available. I checked it out and was able to comp at the Renaissance. It would have been $250 for the other 2 hotels for me and hubby as companion. Don't know if we will be able to get in tomorrow lining up at 3:00 in the diamond line. At least we will be near the action and hopefully, we can at least get in on Tuesday. Only 5000 getting in, and 1500 already have wristbands from the contest on facebook.

I see it is showing up comp for me as well tomorrow, and I'm a lowly Gold member. Just this morning it was something like $250. Sure wish I could take off work Tuesday and stay overnight. I got one of the wristbands and got a decent number (#270's) so we'll be there tomorrow. Write us a trip report on the Ren ... I'm seeing a lot of comp nights out into June and would like to check it out. Have a great time!

I saw a picture from a pre-opening event of $1 8/5 DDB.

I'm not saying there absolutely won't be anything better than that, but in general I'm guessing it's going to be pretty ugly.
