Personally, CET made a huge marketing and customer service mistake by adding the resort fee. They spent millions promoting their No Resort Fee campaign only to throw it in the trash and recoup it with resort fees. In the end, they will profit as a result because so many will continue to pay the fee, however the loyalty of their players over the long-term will start to diminish in my opinion. I was Diamond for 7 or 8 years and Platinum last year and have not even stepped into a CET casino since last May as I had better offer and play elsewhere. Now I have no desire to go back even though they continue to send me nice marketing mailers for free rooms, cash etc. If I did take advantage of one of those offers, I am more likely to stiff them then to play in their casino.
At any rate, a couple of things to take note about their resort fees. If you are expecting Wi-Fi, you will be surprised to find out that most of the properties do not support Wi-Fi and only have hard-wired Internet. This is a huge problem for me. Also, the fitness center access is limited to the fitness center only, not the spa area so you will not have access to the wet sauna, dry sauna, showers, etc.
