What is the nicest room you have actually PAID for?

Maybe 3-4 years ago Palazzo regular room paid $169 per night. A "Regular room" at the Venetian/Palazzo is much nicer than a lot of suites I have stayed in. Another really nice "regular room" is a terrace suite at Cosmopolitan in the east tower with a view of the fountains, I think is was $199 per night it is not as big or as classy as the Palazzo/Venetian. The last really nice regular room was at Caesars Palace, stayed in the Augustus tower $219 per night. Of those mentioned I think the Palazzo is the best, the regular rooms are as big or bigger than and nicer than a lot of the suites I have stayed in.

Corner Suite at Aria with a panoramic view of the strip. Each night I took a long hot bath in the jacuzzi tub and watched the twinkling lights of the strip. I had a good rate to start then paid $75 per night for the upgrade.

Was lucky enough to get a great deal on smartervegas.com one year. Booked 3 nights at $100 plus $100 food credit with a free upgrade IF available. When I checked in the desk clerk says "you will be very happy with this upgrade".

Walked into the 920 sq/ft Corner Suite---what a shock! Nicest room have ever had. Overlooked MGM-Monte Carlo all the way to the right overlooking the pool and mountains in the background. Hell, I might even pay full fare for this room someday!!!
I actually forked over $75 a night for a Jacuzzi sweet at Sam's Town once. That would be about as much as they will squeeze out of my tight butt.

Where's that "Like" button?

OK...have stayed at nearly every resort on the strip...
Best room was a wrap terrace at the Cosmo--this is our FAVORITE room on the strip. Terrace makes it!
Can't believe I posted this question over a year ago and its still on first page. Still havent finished booking for wedding trip. Looking at Vdara, Bally's Jubilee, Platimum, Palms Ivory Suites and MGM Signature among others. Fiancee would have no problem with the non-casino properties. Would love to hear from those who have stayed at ANY of these properties whether good or bad
Well, the only room I've paid for was our first trip to Vegas. Stayed at the pre-Harrahs's Imperial Palace for about $30 per night. I would not consider it the best room ever but I sure miss the pre-Harrah's IP. It was like downtown on the strip.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at MB last year. It was about 380 a night, but split it with another couple. Great views of the city.
Stayed at one of the executive suites at the Gold Coast and paid on average $ 70 per night..... but I had to tip my way into that steal-of-a-deal. Recently, I have stayed at the RIO in one of their super suites but was lucky as it was a complimentary upgrade due to my position with the trade show being hosted there. For the week, I paid an average of $ 99 per night.
If your going for your Honeymoon, stay at the Bellagio. The rooms are better than most, but the property in general is best suited for a Honeymoon experience.
