What to expect on my next trip...

We are planning a trip in August to Vegas.  We will be staying at MGM and Wynn.  I am wondering what recent visitors have felt about their visit.  Is it crowded?  With all the changes in place (limited restuarants, slots and table games) did you feel uncomfortable or was it less enjoyable? Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Cathi.  So far there has been about one (1) actual Trip Report that I've seen, posted by Robert under the LAS VEGAS forum, not the TRIP REPORT forum.  He detailed very well his experience on opening night and a day or two from there.   Naturally things have already changed since then.

I've been looking for more TRs, but so far only found that one.  Our next trip is late July.  Keep checking the Forums, especially TRIP REPORTS.  Lots of changes will have been made by the time of your trip and mine, and more people will have visited Vegas (hopefully) and more TRs will be posted.

Wynn has said all of their restaurants will be open, no closures.  I'm sure restaurant news has been posted about MGM.  Check the "DINING" forum.

Table games...VEGAS NEWS reported yesterday that a new mandate just came out requiring masks at ALL tables in ALL casinos unless there are the plastic barriers between dealers and players.  The mask requirements seem to come and go and come back again, probably due to the upsurge in cases, which IMO was bound to happen.

I check VEGAS NEWS frequenly every day, that being the most up to date info specifically about Vegas, openings/closures, rule and law changes, etc.

Also, the blog Vegas and the Virus has info of interest.  Updated every few days.

This doesn't answer your questions very well, but I'm in the same boat, wanting to hear more from those who have been there.  Good luck.
