Which Caesars property should we stay at for comped?

We are only staying on the strip for one night in August.  We have all but Nobu comped with some of the comps being nice suites (Flamingo, Harrahs).  Given that quiet and location are a priority, what would you choose?  Currently, i have Cromwell reserved because we will walk to Ellis Island during the day, but I am concerned with reviews stating that the nightclub is ridiculously loud.  I haven't stayed at a Caesars property in many years (we always stay downtown), so am excited by the looks of the some of the rooms on the website, however, i don't want to be fooled by old pictures.  I am traveling with my 84 year old father, so Caesars is a little too big for him to navigate.  Thank you for your thoughts!

Normally I wouldn't advocate for Cromwell, due to the small bathroom we had (one stay, many years ago).  And fancy it is not, but I'm sure it has been remodeled since my stay.  But it would be good for your father.  Elevators open right into the casino, and the casino is relatively small.  Ask if there are rooms less affected by the nightclub noise.

I also would think Flamingo might be OK.  If you/he will want to stroll a short distance along that side of the Strip, Flamingo's doors open right into the place from the sidewalk.  And Flamingo is more like a "Strip" joint, i.e. fancier, than Cromwell.  I loved Flamingo's 'back yard', lovely, quiet, but that also was years ago when we saw it.  Never stayed at Flamingo, but if the elevators are not so far to walk, I'd recommend it.  Especially if you might get a nice suite there.

Good luck.  I'd think you'd be OK at Cromwell, since it is convenient to Ellis Island and that's important to you.

Candy

I wouldn't stay at Cromwell again We missed the noise It was held out for a holiday after we checked out. Rooms small dark Slit window. On the positive very clean and easy access to garage and walking. I love Caesar's

Yet have your walking shoes. Distance to street and garage.

This year I choose Flamingo again. Stayed many times.Rooms nice.

usually upgrade to strip view. Not exceptionally fancy. Easy walking in and out Can access rear to walk to Ellis Island Also easy to garage. Monorail

station Mostly positive.Only one negative experience during Covid .

Comped rooms great

I missed the age of your father I am 80 next month So unless dad is very fit. I would rule out Caesar's

so everything else I said runs true. Cromwell little closer to Ellis Island then Flamingo. I agree with Candy.

Back to age there is a lot of walking in general in Las Vegas. For me we always rent a car. Even walking to

Ellis Island from the Strip is getting to be a challenge for me.

If we do the walk on the first day and head out back door where valet is at flamingo, the walk will be fine for him. And I agree. I will not go to Caesars with him. We will stick to Cromwell, flamingo and the linq to gamble and will likely take an Uber for way back from Ellis. No sense getting worn out on first day. Then next two days we head downtown where everything is so much closer together.

I hope you both have a great time......and lots of luck!!

we like planet hollywood for the rooms.  Elevators are close to the valet and check in, and close to the casino too.  Easy walk  across the street to bellagio and from there you can take the free trams

Thanks Brent, that's good info.  My dad and I stayed at Planet Hollywood many many years ago and he could not stand how loud the music is.  For 84, he does exceptionally well in the Vegas scenario, but there are some things that are a big no.  We ended up booking at Flamingo and our past play got us some decent rooms, so I think we will be happy there.  =)

Glad you are getting good advice. One more thought .We like you go in the hot weather months these days. Better to do your walking morning or evening. As I said I will be 80 in few weeks. Been going to Las Vegas most my adult life. Stayed in a lot of places This year like you will stay at The Flamingo.Last year the walking in the heat a bit of a challenge. Of course there is taxi if you or dad get tired.
