Which casino hotels have you stopped going to?

We have up on Boyd 2 our 3 years ago when they decided to not give us our gold card at Sam's Town.  Lol, we moved to Eastside and Aliante only to have Boyd but both of them.  Sheeeesh.

Haven't been on the strip in quite a while.  We won't pay resort fees and pay to park simply won't happen.

I haven't been at Bellagio, Mirage, Aria, Caesars, MGM, Excalibur, Mandalay, Tropicana for more than a year or more now. When they implemented the parking fee I decided it's not worth going there any longer. Not sure if Tropicana let's you park for free but I reckon a lot of people park there just to walk across the street to MGM or Excalibur and then it's only a question of time when Tropicana management decides to charge for parking.

After all, it's a long trip to get to Vegas for many people. And because there are casinos in most countries in the world people do have options. It's not necessary to squeeze out every single penny from the tourists as it may turn out that more and more tourists will go and spend their money elsewhere.

Same applies to that ridiculous 5 dollar parking fee at the Premium Outlet North. Be advised that I haven't gone there since they came up with this stupid idea to charge for parking to paying guests. Thank you very much, Vegas !!!!

I stopped playing at Sam's Town after they removed all but one of the FPDW quarter machines.  I think the last time I played anything but a promotion or coupon at a Strip casino was at the Frontier.

When Planet Hollywood Total Rewards booth staff patently ignored us standing there (soon after the casino opened) while they chatted amongst themselves, we left and I won't play a penny nor stay in the hotel.  I admit it was years ago and probably not representative of their customer service today.  First impressions, and all that.

In total aggreement with Boris...refuse to pay these fees ...havent been on the strip in ages....being a Canadian (who with the exchange loses 35% on the dollar presently, before one is even spent is disincentive enough.... but I live with that part). If it wasnt my annual subscription to the LVA and some comped nights with Boyd,  my "vacation monies" would've been allocated elsewhere by now.....and ...now with the way Boyds been making changes, who knows...as previously said Casinos all over the place  now, not just in Vegas....just saying.....alienate customer = customer no more! (and this customer, like some... has good memory and doesn't forget).

With the changes to the BConnected program, especially for video poker players, the Boyd casinos are no longer viable plays.

don----your posts are always informative-----have been in the boyds system for 15 or so years playing full-pay vp and getting room and food comps-----with the changes in the boyd program  where do you recommend a player like me should now go to get established?-----local or downtown does not make a difference

there is a way to continue playing at Boyd and still receive the benefits. You just have to understand that this casino operator, just like any other corporation, is in business to make money. Give them a little shot at your money and you will receive Sapphire Status. Once you have that, you can play the Senior Days and enjoy the Bonus Points. Use the ACG and LVA coupons for additional discount. Skip the gift day offers and focus on the high percentage progressive games which are available if you do your scouting. These machines give you the full Tier value and once you have your status you can mix it up and play the better games as well. This would be good for Boyd and for you and you will receive your free rooms.
