Which tower ar Caesars Palace would you recommend?

Some has to do with where you like to hang out, what your preferences are (which area you like to gamble in, view, large room, jetted tub, close to pool, etc.).

Augustus Tower was new and lovely how many years ago? (15-20 years? It is closer to registration, the Diamond Lounge, the front entrances (Flamingo exit, front exit to cab line, etc.). The rooms are aging, furniture scarred, though overall still very nice.

Then came the Octavian (Octavius?) Tower 3-5 years ago? It is newer, and pretty much a carbon copy of Augustus as far as room decor. Depending on where you hang out, Octavian can be a longer walk, but again it depends on your destination. Definitely would be a long walk to the front doors, registration, Diamond Lounge, etc.

Palace Tower is older than Augustus, but rooms were remodeled around 10 or so years ago at which point they were equally as lovely as Augustus (or more), and some have two bathrooms, etc. If you are a pool person, Palace Tower elevators open right at the pool, to the best of my memory.

There is the Nobu tower, which is newer. Not sure how big a fish one has to be for that one. Someone posted that the rooms were nice but small. Maybe someone will post about their stay in Nobu.

Then there are the original older towers: Roman, Centurian, etc. I haven't seen rooms in those towers, but I believe some have been renovated/remodeled, etc. The worst thing I read was that some don't have bathtubs, only showers. I need a tub to soak in! Those rooms were built in the glory days of Caesars Palace. If they want to put you in the Roman or Centurian or other older tower, ask specifically for a renovated room.

Octavius Tower is a very long walk, yes, but it's well worth it. The beds in that tower are heavenly. Augustus Tower rooms, as Candy said, are showing their age and we feel that the beds are in need of replacing at this point as well.
I've stayed in them all and I prefer the Forum since it is in the casino I like to use, next to the Rewards booth and the passageway to the other casinos and buffet. No problem with the quality of the rooms or beds.
