Not true; you CAN buy them at TVMs. You can also get them directly from the bus when you pay your fare. Be sure to mention to him/her that that's what you want.
Ok thanks for the info. I was just going by the little chart on the rtcc website. Also anyone have thoughts about taking the bus from downtown to MB with luggage? Will only have one suitcase. Thought it would be cheaper to take the bus then a taxi. Aslo where does the bus let you off at MB?

Taking your questions from back to front... I've never been to the Mandy Bay stop; I've only gone as far as Excalibur. I suspect the stop is somewhere in front. The bus will be a lot cheaper than a taxi (I'm guessing $20+, depending on the usual factors). I'm always prepared to put my luggage in my lap, since a vacant seat is never guaranteed. Though if you go on off hours, the SDX probably won't be very crowded at the Fremont St. stop. The Deuce is more crowded and also slower. I say if you're OK with wearing your bag in your lap for the 30-60 minutes the trip will take, then the bus is a fine option. Otherwise, you know what to do.

Right in front.

And here's the RTC website showing that the 24 hour pass for the Deuce and SDX can be bought from TVMs.
I had a suitcase and two smaller bags when I rode the SDX from downtown to the Cosmopolitan/Bellagio stop (was checking into the Cosmopolitan). Not an issue at all. Sat at the very back of the bus and luggage was just on the floor right in front of me. Ride was about 30 minutes during non-rush hour times so to MB it might be another 10 minutes.

Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I can verify that Lil Sis did just that with no problem. She was talking to me on the phone while she made her journey down the strip. She was giving me the 411 on her ( first time) stay at the El Cortez while riding. Never once complained about the busride... or the company on the bus. Lil sis KNOWS the RTC!!!!!!

It would probbaly be more difficult transferring w/luggage if you boarded after Strtatosphere stop. More tourists means more problems with finding a spot where you're not blocking people. But from RTC, no difficulties.
