Wow... that's too bad. From what you are saying, your 5 hour direct flight is costing you $ 837.00 in total and hence $ 420.00 per person (round trip). For Canadians like myself, IF YOUR ARE LUCKY, you can get direct flights (3.5 hour flight) for $550.00 per person. If you get a fare for under $600 per person (taxes in), you are quite pleased. Often the taxes for this type of trip will cost about $ 200.00 per person.

I am always envious of the cheap air fares that are found in the US. But heck.... we're Canadian and we get "free" healthcare!
