Thanks raaajaaa for the heads up for BJS. I was able to get my 10 day rental in December down to $156.39 all in for a midsize. Using the corp. code of 7014291 got it about $8 lower than the BJS corp code. Even though the corp code I used if for American Express and I used a Visa to reserve, it took the code and provided the discount. It does loose the extra driver however.
If I use the kiosk upon arrival and pay with my visa, will they somehow change the rate?
A tip that might help,if you provide your credit card info,and preferredcar,etc. you can by pass the counter and the kiosk. Go right to the car you want, and drive out to the checkout stall. Don't get any faster,or more convenient that that! Bob
Combined Linda's suggestion with another code I found on the internet got me the cheapest rate in Dec. Found I can mix and match the codes. The numeric code seems to control the rate you get and the alphanumeric one gives the discount. For me the cheapest combination is this.
7015309 rather than the insider code of 7015135, For $35 off weekly - use Alamo 7014136 coupon code AD2359FDF . Requires 5 day rental, use for rental pickup by 12/31/11. Blackouts may apply. No printout required. So I used 7015309 and AD2359FDF try mixing and see what works best for you.
I googled this code and found the coupon to go with it. It's here for those concerned about not having the coupon. But I have never been asked for as I always use the kiosk.
